Kathy Sullivan

Kathryn Sullivan teaches ballet at STEPS on Broadway, the Peridance Capezio Center, and Joffrey Contemporary Summer Intensive, as well as Barnard College at Columbia University.
She has taught ballet in NYC for over 25 years; many of her students are in major dance companies, on Broadway or are now teachers .She was a professional ballet dancer for many years, performing with the Boston Ballet, Les Grands Ballet Canadiens, Connecticut Ballet, and Les Ballet de Nancy. She has taught at Broadway Dance Center, Ballet Hispanico, and La Guardia High School of Performing Arts.
 Her choreography has been presented at Joyce Soho, Merce Cunningham Studio, and commissioned by Barnard College. For seven seasons, she was a co-director of InnerLandscapes, a modern dance theater collective.
Ms. Sullivan collaborated with pianists on CDs for ballet class, made a DVD of ballet routines, "Ballet with Style", has written articles for all major dance magazines and directed three documentaries on modern dance - Pina Bausch, Hanya Holm and Downtown Dance NYC.
