Elisa is a performer and scholar of dance and contemporary performance with a PhD from Temple University. She graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College and received her Masters in Performance Studies from New York University. She joined immersive theater company Third Rail Projects in 2015 and has since performed in Then She Fell, The Grand Paradise, and Midnight Madness. She has taught at Marymount Manhattan College, Barnard College, Temple University, and Arts Connection’s Teen Reviewers and Critics program. She has collaborated as a dramaturge/performer with Meghan Frederick/Practice Project and has had the pleasure of working with the Tze Chun Dance Company, Elisabeth Motley, Zoe|Juniper, and Jules Bakshi. Her current interests include the virtual space having collaborated on and performed motion capture for the Emmy-winning virtual reality film Wolves in the Walls by Fable Studios (2017).
